What Dental Illness Covers

Treatments related to dental illnesses that affect the teeth and/or gums that become symptomatic or is diagnosed after the coverage start date:

  • Broken, Chipped, & Fractured Teeth

  • Extractions

  • Gingivitis

  • Root Canals & Crowns

  • Stomatitis

  • Periodontal Disease

Note: Dental accidents and trauma are eligible for coverage in your accident and illness insurance policy up to the annual maximum.


What Dental Illness Does Not Cover

Embrace does not cover routine dental care including:

  • Routine Dental Cleaning (with or without anesthesia)

  • Pet Toothbrushes & Toothpaste

  • Dental Chews

  • Annual Dental Checkups

  • Teeth Brushing by Groomer or Vet

  • Dietary Dental Supplements

Routine dental care is covered by our optional Wellness Rewards plan.


Dental Illness Coverage Limit

Dental illness treatment is included in your accident and illness insurance policy up to $1,000 per policy year. Coverage for dental illnesses is subject to your policy deductible and reimbursement rate.
