What's Covered

Embrace covers every unexpected accident and illness that could happen to your pet as long as it was not symptomatic or diagnosed prior to the start of coverage.

Coverage includes, but is not limited to:

Accidents

  • Intoxication, Poisoning, & Foreign Matter Ingestion

  • Dental Trauma

  • Car Accidents

  • Bloat

Illnesses

  • Cancer

  • Pneumonia

  • Diarrhea

  • Vomiting

Dental Illnesses*

  • Periodontal Disease

  • Gingivitis

  • Root Canals & Crowns

  • Oral Masses

  • Extractions
    * Dental illnesses are covered up to $1,000 per year.

Breed-specific & Genetic Conditions

  • Hip & Elbow Dysplasia

  • Brachycephalic Syndrome

  • Hyper- & Hypothyroidism

  • Patellar Luxation

  • Intervertebral Disk Disease (IVDD)

  • Injury or Illness Resulting from Fighting, Racing***, Cruelty, or Neglect
    *** Organized and professional racing is covered if you let us know that your pet is involved in that activity when you sign up or when they become involved.

  • Breeding, Whelping, & Pregnancy

  • Cosmetic Procedures
    - Tail Docking
    - Ear Cropping
    - Dew Claw Removal (unless it is medically necessary)

  • DNA Testing or Cloning

  • Avian Flu or Nuclear War
