Updating the Embrace Pet Insurance App

To update the Embrace mobile app, follow these steps:

For iOS (Apple App Store): Open the App Store, go to the "Updates" tab, locate the Embrace app, and tap the "Update" button next to it.

For Android (Google Play Store): Open the Google Play Store, navigate to "My apps & games," find the Embrace app in the "Updates" tab, and select the "Update" option.


Restarting the Embrace Pet Insurance App

To restart the Embrace mobile app, perform the following actions:

For iOS (Apple Devices):

  1. Close the app: On your iPhone or iPad, swipe up from the bottom (for iPhone X or later) or double-click the home button (for earlier iPhone models) to access the app switcher. Swipe left or right to find the Embrace app preview, then swipe it up or off the screen to close it.

  2. Reopen the app: Locate the Embrace app icon on your home screen or app drawer and tap on it to relaunch the app.

For Android Devices:

  1. Close the app: On your Android device, tap the square or recent apps button (usually located at the bottom of the screen or on-screen navigation bar). Swipe left or right or scroll up and down to find the Embrace app, then swipe it left or right or tap the close button (usually an "X" or "Close" icon) to close it.

Canceling Partial Submissions or Policy Changes

To cancel partial claim submissions or policy changes, please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the specific section of the app where the submission or change was initiated.

    • Claim Submission - click "Submit a Claim" then "Start a Claim"

    • Change Coverage - click "My Pets" > "View Details" > "Change Coverage"

  2. Look for an option to cancel or discard the partial submission/change.

    • iOS - click "cancel" in the upper right-hand corner of the screen

    • Android -

  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the cancellation.
